Happy Fall!

Happy October, lovies!  Fall is officially in full swing!  Lush fall mums with their heady fragrance are making their appearance everywhere.  We have pots of them in bushel baskets lining our landscaping.

Do you like my little ornamental scarecrow? His cheery face greets my fall guests with a welcoming smile.

Now that October is here, it's time to start decorating and planning for Halloween.  We're planning a few trips to the local farms and pumpkin patches.  My son is going on a field trip to one next week. It won't be long until the little trick-or-treaters are donning their costumes.  Have your kids decided what they want to be yet?

  2. Judy, I do love the scarecrow and the flowers are lovely. I can't wait to get more mums for our goat carts....so exciting, just to even think about.

Hope you had a wonderful time at your function. I would love to see your dress.

  4. Let's see, my 6yr old son wants to be a vampire, my 9yr old daughter has crossed over from happy, princess halloweens and this year wants to be a dead bride. Hmmmm, the baby... I haven't decided, she loves minnie mouse and all things princess, but I may just use an old costume that the other two wore :)

Love fall and am looking forward to a trip to both the pumpkin patch and the apple orchard. :)
