An autumn supper

It seems once the September calendar page is torn away, autumn is thrust upon us.  It's an otherwise dreary and brisk day here in Pennsylvania, and I'm looking forward to going home to a tummy-warming bowl of my homemade vegetable beef soup with my two precious guys in our dining room decorated for the harvest season.  I have a lovely table centerpiece for the season that is both simple and elegant set upon one of my white cake pedestals and complemented by a reversible quilted table runner from Williams Sonoma {LOVE that store!}.

I hope you're enjoying the season thus far.  The cooler temperatures beckon us indoors again from the fun of summer so it's nice to surround your family and guests with little touches of seasonal splendor throughout.

We're knee-deep in Halloween decorations at our house.  I hope to have pictures to share soon!

  6. Love the idea of raising them up off the table. It gives the bouquet definition and height!
