Just when we thought the snow was over

Just when things in PA began to thaw...

Just when we thought the snow drifts would be a thing of memory...

Above: my son's playhouse buried in the snow

Just when we thought spring couldn't be that far away...

Just when we thought we'd had our fill of winter fun...

Just when we thought we can't trudge through this anymore...

The forecast is calling for more snow!
For the next three days!

Old man winter just won't let go!

  1. Hasn't this been the longest winter ever. Our local news broadcast said last night that we have had more snow days here in decades. Last year by this time we were in the 50's. Maybe all this snow means they will have frozen all the summer bugs!!!

  3. It looks a lot like my front yard as well but I don't have a beautiful little child out there enjoying it. I might enjoy winter more seeing it through the eyes of a child - he sure looks like he is having fun in the tunnel!

Thanks for the sweet comment on my blog! It warmed my heart. I must say I am quite jealous of the playhouse for your boy. I will have to work on my own soon!!!

  9. We got missed by this storm but the winds are howling! They said we will have gusts up to possible 50 mph. It sort of 'howled' all night long! I'm more than ready to see spring arrive!

  10. Ha!! Love this post! I know, right, Ugh!! I'm a positive person, but, ugh!, am I ready for some warmer weather.

It's sunny, but still freezing cold here! It is supposed to warm up into the 40's next week, so I am so happy, and just praying we've seen the last of it.

If we could at least say we were on an upward spiral, I could accept that, an be very happy!
